TV One is representing and reigning supreme this summer with original programming for “Summer Movies: Love, Lies, & Murder”. Already enjoying great success with “The Bobby DeBarge Story” (click here for Madflavor TV’s Coverage) by amassing over 1.8 Million views and debuting at #1 on June 29th on Cable and Television, TV One has its sights on smashing the ratings all July with its’ movies: “Sins of The Father” on July 7th with Deitrick Haddon (The Gospel), A.J. Johnson (Baby Boy), Clifton Powell (Ray), Terayle Hill (Merry Wishmas) and Angela Davis (I Feel Pretty). IN BROAD DAYLIGHT on July 14th starring and executive produced by Shad “Bow Wow” Moss (Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta), Chyna Lane (She’s Gotta Have It – Series) and Curtis Hamilton (Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le). LOVED TO DEATH on July 21st stars Malinda Williams (Girlfriends’ Getaway), MC Lyte (Girls Trip), McKinley Freeman (Hit the Floor), Tobias Truvillion (Empire) and Chrystee Pharris (Media). Last but certainly not least, DEADLY DISPATCH July 28th stars Tamala Jones (Castle), Dominique Perry (Insecure) and Rapper Bone Crusher (ATL).
MadFlavor TV’s Cavel Davis and La Shaunna Goldyn had the opportunity to stop by TV One’s private location in Los Angeles to speak with the cast of each of these amazingly twisted shows of intrigue, sex, lies, and murder. “Oops, did I forget to Mention Zarian?”. our esteemed cinematographer was present as well. “My bad son, I ‘gotta’ show love to the camera guy…lol”
The three were greeted by a warm welcome on the 6th floor by TV One’s production and public relations staff. The setup was very well organized and made it really easy for our team to navigate. The day began at 10 AM and would conclude by 3 PM to allow all media to have personal time with each of the actors for every movie. TV One also provided lunch. Kudos to TV One, because “yall know how people likes to eat.” While Zarian setup the camera, Goldyn prepped Cavel on touch points for the interview. Segment Producer Goldyn also took pictures for our social media. With the setup complete, Intros out the way, and Cavel prepped and ready to go; it was time to learn more about TV One’s Summer Movies: LOVE, LIES, and MURDER.” Let’s Begin…
